Anyone workout here? I'm going to be signing up very soon cuz I seriously DISLIKE going to Lifetime... Plus at $50 a month ... its kind of insane... I have quite a few friends there and i'm really looking forward to starting up there. I'm just waiting for this month at Lifetime to expire and i'll be going to Cardnial Fitness :neener:

50 per month is kinda steep for a regular old health club. Would see if you could get them down or see if they will toss in something. I remember when they first opened they had a promo for 19.00 per month, I guess that wasn't such a bad deal. At the same time 50 is still cheaper than some of these new places that have rock climbing, child care, yoga rooms etc. They can be upwards of 200 per month. Props on getting ready to join a health club.

Lifetime has the wall, child care, etc... but yea after you tack on all the extra fee's it DEFINATELY adds up... All I use LifeTime for is working out upstairs and SOMETIMES (but rarely ever) use the hot tub... Its kind of disgusting to see dirt covered foam floating in the center of the hot tub... makes you want to tell someome to clean that sh!t out before someone gets hurt :jester

This is where stace and I go now. It's 31 and some odd change for the 2 of us a month. We go to the one in Wheaton and they have one in Glendale Hights. We really like it and there is no contract.
They have child care and I think it's under 5 bucks to use.

I'm gonna be signing up at the Cardinal Fitness up the street from me in Crystal Lake/ Lake in the Hills tomorrow... I used to go to Lifetime, but $60/ month wasn't worth it once I realized how hard it was to use some of the equipment... Hopefully Cardinal is as great as they led me to believe! $20/ month plus $5/ month for unlimited day care... can't beat that price!!!

I've worked out there for the last 2-2.5 years or so over summers/winters when home for college at the Cardinal Fitness in Cary. I definitely recommend it, it's got very new equipment, everything is very clean (I can't stand my gym at school because it's really dirty and more expensive). You can't beat the price if you just want to lift and do cardio. If you need something more stick with LifeTime or find a place that you can play basketball etc.

Yea, I finally registered at Cardinal Fitness yesterday. But, it was the one on Army Trail in Bloomingdale. Between the Ulta, and Sports store...

hahaha... nah man... theres a few tho. the girl that works at the one on army trail is smokin hott tho... the skinny one that is... the other one I could work out without looking at :lmao: Lifetime however... good god... every other girl walking in/out was a hottie w/smokin body.
