CDW buy-out
Just an FYI - In the past 10 years I've personally known 10 different people that worked there. 1 made it longer than a year and makes a nice 6 figure income. The other 9 people that don't know each other individually all say basically the same thing. You're basically a telemarketer having to make 100 calls a day. Supervisors flat say it's not about making 20 minute calls where you make a friend. Make quick calls and spew out promotions or see if the customer has an order ready to go. It's a numbers game and if you throw enough sh!t, some of it will stick.
If you're lucky and can stomach that type of sales technique you can make some great money. If you're more of a "farmer" that enjoys listening to needs and solving problems this probably isn't the job for you. A "hunter" that can push products (needed or not) and doesn't mind the cheesy salesman promotions might do well. Just be aware that CDW is always hiring and the sales department has a revolving door.
If you're looking for sales job it's a decent company with great benefits. Good luck and give it a shot!
