Good stuff to read if you didn't see it. I was looking at a friends copy and was surprised to see that this Sunday's Transportation section had so much motorcycle stuff in it.

that bike on the front page you are referring to is the bike they have the newbies use. If you look farther down at the classroom portion you can see what bike they use to demonstrate advanced technique on: GSX-R 600.

Interesting stuff on the outlaw biker gangs. I don't know if any of you went to the Easy Riders bike show at the Odium this winter, but at a similiar event in New York a fight broke out between to gangs and one 1%er was killed. I went to the show at the Odium and all I saw was outlaw bikers (1%ers). I stood in line to get in to buy my ticket for 20 minutes with my 3 year old son, and there was a group of guys behind me in line and every other word was F*** this or F*** that, at the top of their lungs, for 20 solid minutes. You think they might tone it down with a little kid right there, nope not them. Just a whole different lifestyle than I want to associate with.
