My brother was down around there last night... He mentioned lots of sand(from construction) on Sheridan. Be careful.
i'll come.
where do u want to meet?im near comisky park.
:)
No.

Checked it out carefully myself a month ago- pavement is in extremely poor condition in many of the twistiest spots due to erosion and poor maintenance, no runoff areas, much residential construction currently, sightlines blind/dangerous as always, high police presense at borders of each contiguous suburb.

But you go for it and have fun!
:rofl :rofl :rofl :rofl

He went yesterday, but, uh, glad he didn't go a month ago 'cause that sounds terrible!
SHeridan road

I ride there more than I should. I agree with the pavement conditions previously posted. I think that they are leaving it that way to keep traffic/speeds down. I usually ride it fairly aggressively (Not Stupidly) and have only twice been hassled by the man. Once I was on my old triumph and got pulled over cause I forgot to turn on the headlight (It's manual), once I showed the officer that it worked he let me go on my way with a laugh and a shake of the head. The other time was on my Ninja and the cop pulled me over for the infamous paperwork check. I was doing 55 in a 30 but he had no radar so he stopped me to send the message. I ride the road often mostly for the section between Glencoe and Ravinia where the twisties and sweepers are. I wish we had several more roads like it to break up the rut I am in. Anyone ever run on the east coast of Lake Michigan? Sorry off topic.:p
