And I'm not sure if its the weather but I'm always tired and its been effecting my work and my work-outs lately. Anybody ever get that way and what have you done to get out of that slump and motivate yourself?
Being a runner for the past 5 years, I can vouch for this seasonal 'slump' but you just have to push through it. If you're a member of Bally or any club that has multiple locations, then visit the location with the Hottest members.
For me, (living in Oak Lawn, but visiting friends in Chicago) that means going to the Webster Place Bally Gym. Holy smokes do they have a LOT of hot ladies there. That alone is great motivation. If you're into Boys/Men, then go visit the Diversey & Clark Bally for your own 'Senator Craig' experience. (seriously, they have a security guard IN THE LOCKER ROOM to prevent these sorts of things).
If you're not part of a gym, then go run around the parks during Soccer season, there's a lot of soccer moms out there.
Other than that, you just gotta get creative. Good luck!
Dude, it sounds like you're not giving yourself Rest Days. This is critical. You cannot work the body EVERY day and not expect to get worn out.
Take your resting heartrate in the AM before you get out of bed, make a note of it. If its elevated, don't workout that day. Its your body's internal 'clock' telling you its not ready.
You're pushing yourself into a bad situation. Rest up a day between intense workouts and when you feel better, then you can go back into daily workouts.

I think some of you are mistaking "lazy and unmotivated" for "unhappy/depressed". I'm just straight up feeling lazy as in I'm too damn lazy to clean my house when I normally do it every Sunday. Or I'm too lazy to fill out my weekly status report, too lazy too be at the gym and run, workout, or kick a fucking pad 30 freaking times. It seems like lately all I want to do is sit on my couch and just veg out. Some of it is mental and some of it is physical but the 2 go hand in hand. If my body is sore or tired then mentally I feel drained and vice versa.
Try to pair up with a workout buddy I suffer from the same symptoms and my workouts are more consistent when I have someone on my back encouraging me or telling me I was missed at the gym.
