This will teach me to ride around on the south side late @ night. Hit a massive pothole on 95th going west just before turning onto 94 after dropping off gf @ CSU. Don't know how I rode home to Gurnee safely.

Does anyone straighten rims locally? Thinking of sending it to Wills Rim repair in SC and picking up another rim in the interim. I think the GSXR/SV rims are identical.

Anybody have a rim for sale? Don't need rotors or bearings.

Thanks

Stephen

Pulled wheel off bike. Found the flat spot. Pounded the inside with a big hammer and a socket extension. Re-seated the tire and its seems to be holding nicely. Did some aggressive manoeuvers - breaking while leaned over and I think that it will be ok...

Im pretty sure all SV rims are the same. You will need to change bearings though because 1000 axle is different. You will also Need to put your rotors on the rim I have. 1000 has different rotors. 100 bucks for rim
