Garth had the dream gig and has been touring around at all these premo tracks for the last few months and riding / demo'ing the pre-production 1125's. He said he likes them.

Plus, I'll bet the racing contingency is gonna be pretty sweet.

Unless it can do gnarly garbage wheelies, does nothing for me.

On a side note, I just did the most wonderful garbage wheelie on the 955i. :wheelie:

Buells are wheelie machines. My M2 very hard to keep the front wheel on the ground. The cityX is even worse or better.

I can't wait to ride it. It looks like it's going to be a lot of fun.... Then I'll judge it. If I buy one I'll wait a couple of years until they get all the bugs worked out.

how does a rotax work compared to a normal engine?

rotax is a Austrian engine maker. They build for Aprilia BMW and many others.

This particular motor is very much a updated version of the Aprilia Mille item.
It seems very possible this motor was intended for Aprilia. Aprilia was in bad shape prior to the Piagiao takeover and Rotax needed a customer.

I'm really looking forward to see what the liquid cooled Buell's will do. And if they start to phase out all their air cooled bikes. At least the hi-perf ones.

The only reason I wouldn't consider a Buell in the past was because of the old air cooled motor and clunky trannys (trannys...lol)

You're probably confusing Rotax with rotary. Rotax engines are traditional piston engines.

Rotax powered....... badass for sure.

Buell has always been cool chassis innovation around a boat-anchor of a motor.
Exciting to see them using a real power producer....a modern motor.
