Just so nobody gets the wrong idea...
A few of us have been engaging in a certain amount of ball-busting with regard to "beating" each other on the track. I just don't want this to be misconstrued by the group as a whole, or others who may not be "regulars" on the BBS.
Track Days are not Races. There are no points or prizes awarded. Track Days are opportunities for both racers and street riders to practice and improve their skills in a CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.
Racing is... RACING. Competition with yourself and others. Being better than you or the other guy were yesterday. There are no "control riders" to show you what to do, when to do it or otherwise keep you from getting in over your head.
There is a big risk of getting hurt when the two concepts are confused.
