Hey all.

So I see Jen (Truckstop) is engaging in some conversation on the CCS forum re: the existence of a women's class (femmoto) for 2011. I know a few of us have expressed interest in racing next year - it would be interesting to see how many are relatively serious about doing at least licensing and racing next year. We may be able to at least have our voices heard to try to keep the women's class around if there's enough interest.

Obviously it's not a firm commitment to race - I'm still up in the air based on finances, insurance coverage, etc. But right now I'd like to get my license and run at least one race, just to say I did it.

Anybody else have any thoughts?

Yeah, I wanted to see if anyone on the CCS Forum had more info.

If ya'll are interested, it's rulebook and decision making time right now for CCS, and we should get organized and petition to keep the class if y'all are serious about getting your licenses and racing next year.

I'm getting my license in January :)

Was gunna get it at the end of this season, but it didn't work out that way :mecry:

This is one more thing I can cross off my bucket list :D

I know it's EXPENSIVE, so if I just do one race, I will be content
Just being on the track during track days is glory in itself :D

=) WARNING!! =)

I also got my race license to do "one race". It was a treat to myself to enter a race on my birthday.

This pic is me, right after having completed my first race, wondering to myself... how the hell can I manage to afford warmers, generator, tires, race entry fees, etc...
