Thanks alot guys/ladies for lettin me tag along today. That was the best riding I have had yet ( remeber I have only been riding for 2 1/2 months) You guys are one hell of a group of people to ride with, except when we have to do 2 U turns in a 2 mile stretch, I won't mention any names. I will deffinately be around more offten.

It was a fun little ride... nice meeting some new folks in addition to the "usual suspects". The 'Rod still corners like crap, but I did manage to scrape it in a new spot. Was the "5" jinx broken, or was that just because Andy wasn't leading?

LOL, Cherry kept quoting the proper directions to turn, so I figured he was good to go. Well, apparently when you are out in the farmlands, "All the roads look a like." But how is LITH different from Burbonais? Dunno, I thought we were more "city like" than down there. LOL

All in all, a good day minus the U-turns, which I was laughing my ass off about and thinking about Troy!

Only thing that concerned me was almost getting T-Boned at the first U-Turn. I didn't catch who it was, else I would have mentioned it. No biggie. I wish I didn't have things to do around the house, but the next three weeks, are all bike weeks!

The #5 ginx only seems ot work when Andy is rider number 3 or 4. He was rider 2 today.

Sorry for the U-turns. That was my first time trying to lead that route. Some of those roads all look the same after a while.

Later Andy, Kevin and I met up with Troy and hit twisties all over the place from LITH to Wilmington including Starved Rock. IT was sweet. Andy & I took ride on Kevin's Ducati. Ohhhhh... Desmo power.... I like it... I like it a lot. My next bike may be an RC-51. Although my F4i held off Andy on the 996 from a rolling start at 50-140mph (I did cheat a little by starting in 1st gear )

Yeah baby, that was one cool 100 mile test ride on the 996, thanks alot Kevin! Impressions...you feel like a champion WSB contender on it...extra even power band, holds a line perfectly railing through sweepers, tells you exactly what is going on in the tire patch dept. front and rear, and hits a nifty indicated 165 (probably 160) on some nice farm roads. Plus it sounds awesome! Best of all...it smokes a FZ1:twofinger but cant walk past an F4i for some reason:hmmm Awesome bike.

There are SOOOO many more places I have mapped out to explore, but only MYSELF and the mighty FZ1 appear to be capable of the task...

You guys on the sportbikes OR the BMW's or exoctic 996 twins (interpreted from Italian, Ducati means "pain" or "pain in the ass" literally) or you little 600's - NONE of you are willing to go the distance to explore these new, unknown roads (now if only I remember HOW TO FIND THEM AGAIN)!

They all complain - "you do too many u-turns, too many wheelies, you go too fast, I need gas for my little over revved 600, I need to rest, my wrists are sore, my ass is sore, my back is sore, your legs are sore, you have a headache, your hungry, you need a cigarette, you need a drink..." Damn, I must have REALLY been far behind, I didn't see any U-turns! Except that one where Anna, myself and the next to last guy got caught behind some farm vehicle and missed a corner.
Even if I could turn good I'd be lost in the straights. Everybody there has 30hp over me and little Suzuki.

'Twas good though, even managed to get out again for about an hour after doing LOTS of yardwork. I got rid of those 3 dead plants in front of my house. Now I have 2 green flowery things. Still need one more.
