How cold does it have to be for you to say fuck it and get the car.

I was riding home tonight in a T-shirt at 5AM and my whole body was shaking from the cold, but I still woulda picked it over a nice heated car.

A couple of nutcases and I were riding all winter...some days down to 32, but mostly it is good (get about 2 hours in) as long as it is above 40.
rode to work early this past spring couple times in the high 20's but it would warm up to 40ish b4 going home. But had to wear the full leathers. Didn't care I was ridin.
I've ridden a few times into the teens. I was heading out one time and got about 20 minutes from home and had to turn back because it started snow and freezing rain. The weather stayed behind me, coming in from the north.

That night was too cold. Had to sit in warm water for a while to get the burn to go away.
Below 60 and I'm not out there. But 55 on the Valk, it has more wind protection.
well you guys know me...as long as there isnt snow on the ground and isnt below 0, i bundle my ass up like a snow man and i RIDE!!:evil
As long as there is a clear route down the driveway, John rides. I draw the line if the pavement is icy.
19 degrees, 4:45am with a massively thick fog. Welcom to Toys for Tots ride last year. I had 1/4" sheet of ice on me just getting from LITH to Slumburg.

After that, pretty much anything 40 degrees or warmer with a dry surface is doable for me!

same here, although TFT warmed up in the afternoon. :)

since I got the leathers though I might try colder temps 30- and see what it feels like. :thumbsup
I ride if it's 38 degrees or above.... and if you wear a jacket, it's not so cold :evil
They put heat in cars for a reason. Damn I love to ride, but frostbite just isnt worth it.
When frost starts forming on the inside of the shield on my helmet is usually when I call it quits:helmet

I'm in the group 40 and above, even if its for only an hour.
My tolerance changes, depending on what season it is.

Spring - I'm anxious to ride. So long as its over 45, I'll be bundled up and riding.

Fall - summer's over, riding isn't "new" anymore, I usually wimp out once it gets below 60.

I must be getting old... 4 years ago, it didn't matter what time of year - so long as it was over 32, I was riding. Not anymore... :(
As long as the tires grip.:D Rode in 15d before. Generally 35-40 is the limit.
