That sucks. I had that two years ago when our client was bought out. On the Friday of the Labor day weekend, my boss called and said on Monday, I'd have to let most of team go, with the rest to follow in the coming months.

Ruined my whole weekend. Thats all I could think about. I'd have rather he just called me Monday and told me then. But in the end, it was inevitable. I dreaded doing it. But first it was them, and then myself.
