Ok everyone,

I know all of you were giving me a hard time about not even coming close to Ducman's best lap time. Well I turned a best 1:16.65 at Friday's practice (BHF)! New tires and a couple adjustments helped me there! See the pic of the Mycron. Lap timers don't lie. It's a real time and yes it's my bike w/ me riding it. :D
I got my pace up, now all I have to do is learn how to keep it rubber side down shinny side up...:confused I'm sure you heard I wodded my bike Sunday during my first race. Was in 3rd place just got around the 4th and 5th place guys that I was having a hard time passing! Was putting my head down to catch Jim (omniglh and Andy #19) I would of caught up to them but I doubt that I could of passed them for the the first place. BUT I eat shit in turn 4. So to answer your question, No you can't go wide open from the bus stop into turn 4 :laughing Jack got some killer pics of my crash and race day!

Jim ended up finishing that race in 2nd place! Jim had a great weekend.
I just ended up thrashing my bike but I'm gonna put it back together for RA race. See if I can make it thru the weekend w/ out crashing:laughing

Glad your OK dude.
Geez, you guys just ROCK!!!!! I'm sorry I wasn't there to see it. Glad you're okay too!
dano good to hear about your time. sad to hear about the bike, but damn those are some good pics Jack got of you.
I thought your bike was black?????????????
race plastics....

must be nice to have a couple of sets of plastics
Awesome photography and I'm glad you are OK.
Sweet. Nice riding. It's good to see someone talk shit and then back it up with some results.

Sorry to hear you crashed. That is my least favorite turn at BHF.
kick ass dano....kick ass time...one of your friends timed me on the track day we did....he said 1 of my laps was a 1:20, i wish i knew he was timing me...i wouldda went balls out...lol

sucks about the bike...i dont think it was posted around here but glad your ok dude. keep up the good work!
I still got some serious work to do? I need to get to high 14s/ low 15s to run up front w/ the really fast experts. Maybe I'll have to declare a credit card emerency and have traxxion do my front forks and order up a shock.
I wouldn't of crashed if I had a shock on my bike! My bike bottoms out there all of the time! Only that time it didn't stay hooked up....lol

BTW crashing in leathers is SOOO cool. I wod and I get up like nothing happend. No road rash no nothing!! woo hoo:thumbsup

Sounds liek you have a great attitude. Sell your truck, buy a racebike and hit the AMA circuit. You got a lot of catching up to do, but you might do pretty good with some practice.

If I was a rich ass basterd I might sponsor you just for fun. But if I was a rich ass basterd I'd be too good to talk to you anyway.:D

My R6 is now my racebike!! I gotta wait and see what yamaha comes out with for '03. Cuz I'm gonna get a new R6 if Yamaha comes out w/ alot of changes next year.
i heard that too dano r6 in for some major changes.

cherry...you got some weird ass comments sometimes...i know what ya meant, but still weird.

but then again you are a little weird..lmao
Crashing in leathers IS totally cool.... as long as you SLIDE and not TUMBLE. :evil

So crashing is kool?:D
Damn Dan, those are awesome times and, uh.. awesome pics! :D Props to Jack for catching all that. Also, it looked like you tumbled a bit, right? No injuries at all?
No, DanO didn't sustain any injuries (well, aside from a little rash from his crash in the pits :evil )

Bike painting took place all last week...and what a loooooong week. We were up until sunrise, Sunday night/monday morning painting... up again until 4am Weds night wet sanding and buffing... and again until 3am installing plastics and stickers.

Cherry- that's actually both DanO and my goal. Plan is to get bumped to expert by the end of this year. Depending on how things go - we'll *attempt* to qualify for RA and probably Brainerd in '03. Regardless of how well I do in '03, I hope to improve enough to hold my ProAMA license by 2004.

Is there anybody here that is significantly wealthy, that would like to sponsor a couple punks as they attempt to realize their dreams? :laughing ;)

Well that's why they call me Danny Road Rash...:twofinger :twofinger

We'll see what kind of lap times we turn next week when Jim and I go up to RA. My goal is to be sub 2:30. We'll see tho...
I need to be at 112% of poll.......:thumbsup
