Anyone changing parts on their bike needs to keep the stock parts. My insurance doesn't cover aftermarket pipes and stuff like that. They allow me no extra money for my Yosh pipe. But....if I had kept the stock stuff I could give them that and keep my Yosh. I never thought I'd have a use for it so in the trash it went. Doh.

I'm sorry I didn't mention that to you man. When I wrecked my bike I didn't even put most of the stuff back on. I took out the ignition and all the aftermarket stuff and only replaced visible stuff like I put the stock carbs back. I sold most of the stuff already on e-bay. I may get an extra few thousand $$$$ out of it.

this was something I asked my insurance b4 I upgraded the 9R. Was told as long as I kept receipts they would cover it. Haven't tested this yet though.:D
