Down to one bike now and it is a completely overhauled '15 HD Road Glide Special with a Stage 4 117 Kit and Baker DD7 trans - 590 Cams, 58mm Throttle Body, CnC Heads, 10.5 Compression, 2 into 1 D&D Fat Cat Exhaust and much much more - All sorts of custom work (bags, bars, wheels, stereo, etc etc) done to the bike as well - Dyno'ed at 130hp and 140 fpt which for a big old fat HD Bagger is pretty damn good - The History of the bike and build was too good to pass up and i could not be happier - Rolled it out to Galena last weekend and all over Wisc the long weekend prior to - Had it a tad over (3) weeks now and put over 1500 miles on it - That 140fpt is insane and the Baker Trans is amazing too - Funny to see a Bagger lift the front on power only......but she does all day longWhat bike won your favour this summer Bug?
Straight Shot at shoulder Height - 12 Inch Black Chrome HD Tall Boy Bars, with Heated Grips and a CVO Seat with both Rider and Passenger Backrests - Outside of the motor, what the guy dumped into this bike is insane - Over $12K in Motor and $8K in Add-Ons on top of the Cost of the bike - Hell, the Baker Trans is $3K and the Clutch is another $1K - The Bags were $2500......and the list goes on and on - Dude builds a new bike every winter - Built this in the '14 to '15 Winter and in the '15 to '16 Winter he did the exact same build on a Street Glide and decided he liked that faring better - Is building a 2017 Fatboy now with a 131 Kit/Motor that should have him over 150hp and 160fpt which is insane for a Harley - Dude has $$ to burn I guess and gets all his bikes and build done from Heritage where I got my old HD and now this one - The bike is a god damn riotPretty snazzy! :cheers
Do your arms break parallel with those bars? I'd hate for you to get in trouble with the law over something (ahem) small.
Been off Sportbikes for years now man - That SuperDuke was the last one I owned - With Father Time kicking my ass and the back getting worse, I was Cruiser Bound.........and could not be happier - Did over 350 miles last weekend and was as comfortable as sitting on the couch.......with Tunes playing and Sunshine on my face - All good amigoHD? Really?
Does not compute.
Makes it sound pretty good. :biker2:Been off Sportbikes for years now man - That SuperDuke was the last one I owned - With Father Time kicking my ass and the back getting worse, I was Cruiser Bound.........and could not be happier - Did over 350 miles last weekend and was as comfortable as sitting on the couch.......with Tunes playing and Sunshine on my face - All good amigo
It is Bro - I do miss MX and SM for sure but do not miss Sportbikes - I swear HDs are just invisible to cops - Its great riding and nit having to look over your shoulders or in your mirrors all the time for Johnny LawMakes it sound pretty good. :biker2:
Yeah, a Buck 60 will make a bike VERY hard to see....I imaginemy superduke is invisible to the cops also.
Nice to stretch the legs every now and then.I got a little carried away on Sunday morning and lost track of time. Family obligations meant I needed to hustle a bit to get home in time. First time slabbing on a bike in 10 years or so. Sunday morning traffic on the fresh side of I-90 gave me a chance to stretch the Ape's legs. Completely forgot what felony speeding on a sunny morning feels like. My bravery redlined before the bike did - but damn if that wasn't a life-affirming 10 miles or so.
Bikes are cool.
(and I made it home right on time)
:cheers
