Anyone know who can do this in Chicago? I have a trans for a superbike motor I'm going to need serviced. I'm tearing this motor apart and starting a rebuild tonight.

For the peice of mind knowing a trans is as good as it can be before it goes in the motor the price is worth it. What sucks about the stupid SV is that the trans is the first thing to go in and the last thing to come out.

We superfinish all the bottom ends in our race bikes and its like $325-$375, depending on how much stuff. Its $350 for everything in the bottom end of a 450, minus the crank. Worth hp that's for sure. I know it's not cryo just another option, and its not some indiscriminant polishing process. Its a state of the art metal treatment. It does free up some HP and extends the life of a trans.
