I think that's great for Matt - I really like him (I know I'm one of the few) and feel bad he's had such a shitty season. BUT, Eric and Nicky are the only guys out there right now that can string together 27 super-fast laps. My prediction? Nicky wins race one, clinches the title, and Eric wins the second.

I agree that Matt is a great rider....but I agree with Phozed. Miladin can run fast..but not for the whole race.

Race One--- Nicky will turn it up and grab the championship

Race Two--- Yates/Miladin&Hackings GSXR's will catch fire on lap two and take Hayden&Duhamel out too.... Picotte will take the win.

Maybe not.....

"Yamaha's Anthony Gobert did not participate in this afternoon's Superbike qualifying session in Virginia. According to his team, Gobert may indeed ride the R7 tomorrow, depending on how his screwed-together ankle feels after Supersport duty."

How about Yates(1) Hayden(2)Bostrom(3) Who knows -Bostrom and Hayden are so close in points that I'm sure at some point as the season winds down the teams have to remind them that consistency in top places may become more important then pushing that extra second to get the win and crashing, hence loosing their chance at the overall title.

P.S.- It's kind of neat to see privateers like Livingood and Deathrage having so many good finishes this year. I know Their pole times are 5-6 seconds off but remember what they are riding compared to their counterparts.

My 0.2 cents which isn't much
