It's almost time for tires. Anybody know of any really good sticky tires. I'm running Michlen Hi sport Race compound now and I can still blow the tire off my bike. I hear Mickey Thompson has a new tire out anyone got the ups on it? Let me know Thanks

Isn't the MT just for drag racing?
Are you looking to turn or just light it up?
Personally, I've been running with the street pilots. They are plenty sticky for the track and can get up to operating temps on the street and last reasonably well.
I'll probably go with the Sportteck M1 for next year for a change.

See ya

We've got the MT's on our baby dragbike - I wasn't aware they were making a performance street tire.

A 1991 GSXR-1100... sounds like hes looking for drag strip tires. If I remember correctly this is the custom painted, chromed, Gixxer running Nitrous. Sweet bike.

Sorry, but I dont know much about the tires your looking for though.

MT makes a "shootout" tire. World's Quickest Streetbike Shootout was stuck in the 8's until they came out. BAM everybody's running 7's. MT also makes a 17" drag slick. I'm not sure who carries MT but if you can't stick it's the way to go.
