YEah I knwo I tell peopel dont use take off on teh street, but since my 207ZR's were close to BALD, I put a set of pilot race takeoffs on. Can we say FUN FUN FUN!! Bike felt WAY lighter than it ever felt.:D:D Fell right into corners great.:D Now if I can find a street tire that can do the same thing and still be able to run in the rain hard.

Welcome to the club!

If you're reasonably careful, are well aware and accepting of the potential downsides, feel out the limits safely, you will not automatically crash out with race rubber on the street.

I love the quick turn-in feel of my Michelin Pilot Race front on the XX, and have yet to have any "moments" because of it.

If you do get caught in heavy rain, though, tip toe home:nono

Thats the problem. I LIKE to ride in rain. Looking for a street based tire with similar profile now.

Heres something even sadder. Pilot Race tires feel more planted on my YZF than my racebike.:laughing

Ok can I assume that you're using last years pilot races?? Try the new H2s F'n awesome tire! But they do suck in the rain.
