Had a great time today, thanks for leading Andy. Sorry if I was holding you guys up at all, I kinda scared myself almost going off-roading and on the straights the Fizzer has nothing more to give once it hits 140 :D . Bah I'm sore as hell now, the grand total for me was around 250 miles. Max it was nice meeting you, ya gotta make it out for some more southside rides and I gotta make it up north one of these days.

Great ride guys....just use the road kill like a slalom:jester

Max...good to see you slumming down south!

Ryan...nice to see you around again, you were keeping up just fine!

Crazy...Those chicken strips are Toast!:D

Cherry...suspicious fires are not that unusual!;) Maybe a little swim in the bottom of a river will take care of those electrical problems:evil Let me know what you find out!

Bahaha.

So yeah, I had a great ride. Thanks a bunch for leading, Andy, and thanks for the tolls on the way back, too. :) If I had had my new tires on, I'm pretty sure they'd be scrubbed in pretty far--there're some good roads down there. :) Oh, hey Ryan, 140?! What're you talking about?!? Shhh, we weren't speeding! ;) :evil

Anyway, nice meeting both of you, Brian and Ryan. I'll try and make it down there next time, too, 'cause I had fun.

Sorry, I wanted to go, but when I looked last night, you were saying you were unsure and it didn't look like it was coming together at all, so I slept in a little bit instead. :( Say you'll lead and be there for sure next time, etc. etc., and I'll be there.
Key question Maks would be "Say you'll be up" its the weekend, and Lupi likes to sleep in.:twofinger
ROTFLMAO

Yes I like to sleep in, but I was up by 7am or earlier both days this weekend and hadn't gone to bed until after 1am both days. I hate it when the casts get hungry.

Anyway, no biggie Max, I posted I'd be there and what time for both Saturday and Sunday, and Saturday was a complete wash. No one showed. Sunday was Brian and Hooligan. Hell, I'm just happy ya got out and had fun!

Interesting how when Jim says he'll lead the masses come! LOL

Ciao,
Lupi
Great ride,

Aside from the rode kill those rodes were awsome and yes the the Chicken strips are toast. Thanks Andy and Cherry for pushing me on the way there. My back and neck were killining me on the way back. I didn't have anymore in me. I showed on that last corner in the state park when I almost led Maks and Ryan into the trees.:D . Sorry guys. Maks nice meeting you.

BTW: it sucked when I got off at Route 30 and the the frontage roads were still under contruction. I saw you guys again when I had to turn around and take a different route home. The traffic sucked.

Cherry don't feel so bad. Mention m name at 4&6 and they'll tell you I'm the electical problem King. They fix me up good everytime.:thumbsup
See, my thread abotu the electrical prblem. I think I have it half way figured out. I still can;t figure out how the turn signals are related to the headlights. I still think I screwed somethnig up when i was messing wiht my tail lights.

Anyway, had a great ride. I havn;t felt that comfortable in the sweepers before. Andy, you're hauling some serious ass on the 954. Definite improvement. You sitll need soem work on the realyl tight stuff, but I guess that's one thing that a little 600 is good for. Those 6th gear troll ons kick my ass too. I hate it when liter bikes pull that shit. by the tiem I get the bike into 2nd or 3rd gear to match your acceleration, you already have 4 bike lengths.

Maks, Crazy, and Ryan were all flying too. Andy and I never had to wait long after a set of turns. IT's great to see everyone improving and getting faster.
Don't take it personal, Lupi - I was just exhausted! Went back to bed after posting and slept til 11:30. Ditto for Sunday as well.

Guess I needed an "off" weekend!:(
Thanks Mike,

I had a great time. The only time I felt uncomfortable was that last turn in the park. By that time my back and neck were hurting me so bad I was getting lazy and caught myself looking down instead of were I wanted to turn. (I know Ken you warned me about that, but I'm working on)

Ryan Maks were right there with us the whole time too. Great job guys. Pretty impressive for a guy who just got his license.:D

did you see me brain fart on that one left/right sweeper combo when we wetn for the second lap through the Starved Rock run? I took the left and for some reason thought the road was going straight. I must have been getting tired. I woke up and threw the bike to the right jsut as I started to cross the center line.

Now I actually understand how Will crashed. It can happen.

Actually I did see that happen,

I was looking ahead and trying to pay attention to the lines you guys were taking. At the time I was studying Andy's line I watched him lean into the turn after the left and then you shoot cross my vision cause you were so far inside going into the right so I saw your quick swerve left and lean in to save. It was interesting. I think we all pushed it a little at times, but everyone left enough for the save so I can't say anyone was riding outside their limits. It was so much fun, I don't know if you guys heard me or not but there were a couple of times I felt so good about how we were riding I was screaming "woooooohooo.....Yeah baby.........yeah!!!!!!!"

:D I was so tired after we got there I asked Maks to ride in the third position so I could sit back and relax alttle. He didn't want to but the traffic slowed me down while you guys were making the passes. Those rodes are so blind I just didn't see any way to safely get a third bike around the traffic at times so I got to sit back a little anyway, but I could see it would have been a little harder to carve those rodes coming out of there than it was on the way in.

:D :D :D :D Can you tell I'm still alittle psyched, I think I told everyone at work about Sunday's ride by 10 after 7:00am.:D :D :D :D

Sounds like you guys had a lot of fun, glad I could make the ride what it was;)

Yeah, way to go, YOU BIG PIIIMMMP. Anyway, yeah Crazy, I just didn't wanna jump in front of you 'cause I was feeling a little tired too, plus I'm slow and trying to keep up with Mike and Andy probably wouldn't have been a great idea. :D I heard you shouting in your helmet though, you freak! :laughing :D Just kidding, but I think we all did ride really well despite the few mistakes. :jester
