I think the price for parking at UIC is $8 at the public parking. I know that if you get somebody's Icard that has parking at UIC, you can park in the lot and swipe their Icard on your way out but since the semester doesn't start until the 27th, it is going to be hard to find someone with parking on their icard.

Which campus is that on? All of my classes are on East campus and I've never heard of Bldg 605.
It was 605 on the map they sent.

Student center east is the buildings name. on Polk

Thats the conference room of the student center. The free parking is quite a walk from there. You can take the train (Blue Line) and get off at UIC/Halsted. You have to walk like 5 min to get to the student center. The parking at the train stations with parking is $2.00.

when I went there, they use to let the bikers park for free. Not sure if they still do that. This is at the non medical campus side, near 290. Same side as student assistant building.

If you are taking a bike there, park in front of the Student Service Building. From the Student Services Building, go South on Racine. There is 2 hour parking on the West side. If you have a bike, you should be able to find a parking spot w/o a problem in the 2 hour parking. The signs say that this parking is short term only, for 2 hours. When I took my bike to UIC to file paperwork at SSB I parked there and didn't have a problem. I was only there for like 30 min though. From the parking, walk East on Harrison and then South on Halsted to get to the Student Center.
