Kawasaki on the front row. Either the bike is better, de Puniet is riding it better or everybody else is slacking:laughing:

Kawi, woot! Maybe they'll be front runners next year?

Also, Reuters is reporting that Yamaha's Valentino Rossi injured his fifth metatarsal bone in his right hand in a qualifying crash about 25 minutes ago at Valencia.

Rossi walked away from the crash holding his hand and his M1 was described as "destroyed".

Mark Rossi down as questionable at best for tomorrow's season-ending GP.

Guintoli set the fastest time, twice in fact, up until about the 9th minute remaining.

Then it was DePuniet, Hayden, Stoner, Pedrosa, Stoner again, and Pedrosa again.

Rossi had a bad crash that toasted his bike and his right hand. He's questionable for the race.

And Cerk, Hayden ran three sets of qualifiers this morning, it doesn't sound like he's too happy with the race tires though; don't think he will be on-pace tomorrow. :(

Yep, the word has pretty consistently been that the Michelin Q tires are quite good, better than the 'stones even. Its the race tire that sucks. That difference alone likely counts for the 8/100ths between Stoner and Pedrosa.

My prediction: (its an easy one) Stoner destroys all. Hayden and Pedrosa will run strong, then drop off pace to be eaten up RdP/Capirex/Hopper
