Hey guys..

Made the big $75 plunge and joined NESBA. I'll be signing up for the September track days soon enough.

Looks like you all have another guy to lap. Try and keep the passing to the straights. Those last second passes at turn 1 piss me off :mad :nono

Bike number's 241 (street address). Wanted 84 (my army division) but that was taken.

how do the numbers work? can you pick out a double zero number? :D

congrats on taking the plunge. you're already ahead of me :laughing
WOOT!!!! Congrats Grover!!!!:cheers

Now you need to save the $$ for both Saturday and Sunday @ BHF to make use of the full membership this season! That way next year is just that much cheaper!

Now how far off is it?
Ciao,
Lupi
Ernie..

When you enroll you can choose your bike number. Assuming it's not taken you get it. 84 was taken :mad Luckily nobody else lives at a 241 :D

Lupi, it's 65 days to the next BHF. The membership is good for a year so even if I don't do any October days (I may, depends..) I still can hit the spring ones at the discounted price. The Putnam days aren't on a drill weekend, but there's a good chance those weekends will change since I'm looking at going to a different reserve unit.

I'm not addicted...yet. Tough to get addicted when you have super bad lap times like me. Slowing down in the straights to allow everybody to pass doesn't help those either!

Then again, the straight parts are boring :thumbsup
Woohoo. I think I'll be signing up and trying to get those Sept. days paid for when I get my next paycheck. Uhm, hopefully, I mean, 'cause I'd need leathers too. Blah. Anyway, congratulations Groooova. :thumbsup
good for you grover!!! hope you gain as much as the rest of us have by being out there!!!!!!!:thumbsup

Got the full leathers. Need to put the 'field tested, Jeff-approved' Champ91 brand frame sliders on her. I'm keeping the screwed up plastic for the track (once I get the new ones).

Oddy, I don't have problems once the bike is moving good. Well, 'good' is relative. Street 'good' is pokey on the track.

Hmm, Pokey. Like Gumby's friend. Bike and that horse are the same color? Name change for her?

Robogrover? Umm, NESBA don't allow 'sparky' knee pucks. Pretty sure a suit of armor is out of the question :laughing

oops, I did it again.. :eek:t

:evil
Chris
lol just messing with ya...just take your time out there;)
SuperRoboGrover....

You just take your time and be careful out there - remember NESBA days are NOT "racing"!!!:helmet - the only "competition" is with yourself.
You'll be amazed at how much you will learn and how fast you will become!
:cheers :cheers

BTW... do you have a good back protector?
Congrats Supa-Roba-Grova:cheers

Just another blur on the front straight.:D

No seriously, you'll be amazed how much you'll learn and how much more comfortable you'll become on your bike. I know I have.

the riders manual says you can wear a full textile suit in beginner as long as they zip together .. but don't try to pass off the phoenix types as textile .. i heard they gave ceptor a hard time after his intro this month.

Congrats grover .. welcome to the addiction
Yeah, Ceptor was all ready with cash (or card) in hand and they said no to his Phoenix jacket.

Max, if you are going with leathers, check out kneedraggers or newenough. Oh, and go with perforated if you can help it!
