Looks like 7-27-7-28 MAM is up next for NESBA....that was a looooong drive....glad I got out there once...not sure if I'd go back this year. I think my bud is getting married that Sat. :mad

7-20 Learning Curves at BHF might be an option:confused

NESBA's BHF on Sept. 21 (or close to then). I'll be checking out Learning Curves to see if there's something in August. I think I have ONE free weekend that month. But I plan on doing both NESBA days at BHF.

I'd like to do MAM sometime, but that's a long haul. You can probably throw a rock from the grandstands and have it land in Nebraska!

I need to get the plastic headlight cover things (so technical, I know). My tape job looked horrible in Jack's pictures. If I'm moving like pondwater, I should at least look half ass decent.

Looks like I am just going to save my pennies and try for both days at BHF in Sept, and Putnam in Oct.

Four days of track left. Any other complex is just too long of a haul for me this year.

Can it be September now?
Ciao,

Im hoping to get to MAM gotta fix bike first and see what funds are avail for then. other wise its VIR in august!!!:cheers
License to race?:confused Do I get a card I can whip out like Ken when I get pulled over to impress the chic cops.

As far asracing the next day....shit that's all I need...I'd bee in the super crazy 600 SS class right?

Kruz - Do L.C. school on Saturday... buy license... race on Sunday! Be sure to check out the tech requirements for Learning Curves... it's pretty close to what you'll need for CCS competition.
Kim,
Hmm....how much does this cost? and all you have to do is not crash to pass? Are they holding one in August @ BHF by chance?

LC school(schedule at www.learningcurves.com) is $150(I think) you pass if you don't crash. I had a blast, but will warn you guys it isn't like a trackday. Your sessions are run between race practices and the sat. endurance races...and between sessions there are some classroom sessions covering race flags/start/gridding procedures...ect

So total cost to run the weekend (school on saturday/race on sunday)

$150 LC school
$100 CCS License
$65 entry fee for 1st race+$55 for the 2nd and $35 for each additional(if my memory is correct.).

Also FYI CCS WILL bend the case covers& belly pan tech requirements for your 1st weekend.
Next trackday will be the 22nd at Grattan. Then, it looks like BHF in Sept. unless someone rents a track out.
