I dunno Anna. I'd tend to think it's not really hard to just post something saying "Hey, you guys go a bit faster than I'd like to." or, uh, "Hey, I think I'm gonna skip the next ride, 'cause taking corners fast and riding aggressively isn't something I enjoy."
If you think we're losing members 'cause they're turned off by rides like the LITH route, post up more opportunities for people to ride more tamely. In fact, the trip this weekend is a good example, isn't it? I think our members have a choice between riding aggressive rides and riding with the group at a more relaxed pace. That's just me though, I guess.
The first ride I went on was led by Jim and we all did "the route" through LITH, Huntley, wherever the hell that is. It didn't seem like anyone had the "if you don't like it, get lost" attitude. I've ridden with several different groups of people from here, I think, and I've never encountered that. Maybe I'm not being critical enough, but maybe you're being overly critical. It probably doesn't help when people are throwing attitude at you though, which I understand.
Uh, I don't know what I'm talking about anymore and I've got a killer headache, so that's my input for now.
