I waited at the stop signs for the group to catch up. What am I missing???
No offense Mike, but ya flubbed that one up pretty good. There should be no reason that I had to stay back and make sure 3 people caught a turn on to a new street, to go 2 miles at a stop and not find the group there.(Only Kevin996 waited) We caught shit traffic trying to cross there, it wasn't that anyone was slow.

Personally, I think that Jim and Ken sometimes stop and wait too much. It disrupts a smooth flow of the pace through the turns.
As a experienced rider, you should be able to pause for a minute, and be able to jump back in the saddle without loosing a rythm. I think on the biggest difference between first and last person, it's never been more than two minutes.
OK, so one thing that bugs me. Andy wanted to come to LITH. He posted for the ride! No one else knew the route. Fine. Now I spoke with the two of you speciffically before leaving the HIghland House about how this ride should go. You blew me off, and Andy kept pace with you.
You did make a bs comment about riding 10mph under the speed limit from HH to LITH. Well, I've been down that route numerous times, and if I missed zone it was only for a mile or two. I'm sorry, but I am not going to go 65mph down a 30-55mph zone roads with that kind of Sunday traffic. It won't work, and I'm not about to leapfrog cars with that big of a group. I kept the group together from point A to B, no? Yeah you ride tripple digits everywhere since it takes you an hour to get somewhere, sorry we weren't on the interstate.
Now as far as from LITH on. Had you given me --> <-- respect as a rider, none of this crap would have come to be an issue. Straights would have been well over the posted mph, but under tripple digits. The couple of good twistiy roads would have gotten whoever want to go balls to the wall, a wave a head, since they all end at a stop sign. We would have waited
AS LONG AS IT TAKES for the group to catch up.
I think if you would have even waited one mile in, you would have been fine with it. Instead, you blew me off at the first opportunity. SO I said, hell, fine, you're on your own. Yet didn't I stop and wait for you each time you blew a turn?
Not everyone wants to go WOT 100% of the time. Sure I get rather spirited at times, but I've learned to pick when to be a nut, and when not to. I've weighed the risk values and have made my determinations on how I ride.
I've had enough of this topic/thread. Anything else I have to say will be done via PM. If anyone feels they need to respond to me, do it in PM. I still stand by the fact that I had a good time. But this BS is getting rather old rather quickly.
THE END
