Hey you know what? This thread is titled, "What do you want to be when you've grown up?!?!?" Well, I guess I still have a while. I sure as hell don't consider myself grown up. And besides, it's never too late. Now is it?

Ciao,
Lupi

PS:
So Thanks to Gofast.....I WANT TO BE A RACER!!!!! LOL:evil :evil :cheers

I wanted to race offshore sailboats professionally. Unfortunately, it boiled down to being either a B.N. (It's slang for one who takes care of boats. Don't ask what it really stands for.) or working for a sail maker (much better option). Unfortunately, there is almost no $$$ in that and I've got NEEDS.

Although, it would have been fun for a few years. Race :cheers sleep, repeat. I wouldn't have a liver at this point, but my stress levels would be much lower.

I wanted to be a engineer since I was scribbling little drawings of stuff in kindergarten. Whatch ya know, dreams do come true.

I also wanted to marry a hot chick with big tits... but I'm still waiting on that one.

Lately I daydream of racing against Rossi, but then I wake up and realize I'm a talentless-hack/poser on 2 wheels. It that grea I my wife is cheering me on in the pits and sh'es a hot blonde wiht big tits.:twofinger

In high school my main goal was to see how many people I could fit in my parents house and back yard and how many kegs we could kill. My main regret was and still is not going away to ISU when I had the chance, instead I stayed around here and worked. As well as going to COD and Devry. Flopped around in my jobs till I was about 19, then went to work for my dad's old buisness (Calabrese Baking company). Yup I used to make the bread most of you ate any time you ordered a beef sandwich or went to a restaurant. I really thought I was gonna stay with that for a long time and eventually get into the restaurant biz (which I would still like to do.) But my dad ended up on the bad side of a 3 way partnership and his shrares got bought out. So I was jobless again and looking for a career I could be happy with. This is when I went to Devry and started studying Telecom. I loved it and got a job with Continental cable. That was in 96 and I am still and that field and love it. I went from Continental to AT&T, to MCIWorldcom to present where I'm with Level 3 Communications. I love it here, great company to work for and I love what I do. Although the market has got me thinking about another line of work due to the instability in the tech sector, But we seem to be holding out pretty damn well against all the other companies out there. Hopefully it stays that way and the market comes back. Then I can retire off my stock options an follow my true dream and open an Italian restaurant. Thats my end goal right there. I would like to have a place like "The italian village" Or "Rosebud". Plus I'd really like to open up a really kick ass sportsbar with awesome food somewhere out here.

Then should the dream of all dreams is I'd like to own a Prostock Drag bike team. but who knows if that will ever happen.

LOL - Let us know when you're ready to go NHRA... John's next project is to build a NHRA-legal pro stock dragbike.:evil

I wouldn't care to own a team but it would be great to race them. I'd have to polish up the old drag racing skills.:D
