Update on sept 22nd ride

Ok I got a better idea for everyone to meet up.

Seeing as how the indiana people will have it much easier going down 80. You guys come over to 55 via 80. exit 55 south and get off at Route 6.

Everyone else scrap the gas city spot (theres nothing there that exciting anyways.) and continue down 55 to route 6. There is an amaco there with a Mcdonalds Built in. This way all the Indy people wont have to double back a half hour to meet everyone else. and that point is the start of the actualy ride anyways. It will work much better. There ya go Problem solved and no tolls.

Now if I can just get my but back in town early eneough to make this. You guys had this all planned. Someone post what time everyone thinks they will be leaving from that spot. If I can make it on time I'll even lead the ride since I know the route by heart.

Sounds like a plan to me. I have no idea what time we're gonna met up there because i don't know how long it will take to get there, but we should be taking off at 12:45-1 so i would guess 2-2:30ish i have a feeling we'll be flying so it could be closer to 2 :laughing

btw Indy = Indianapolis not Indiana :laughing

Not to bastardize the thread with questions about the ride but for those of us that are in IL and want to meet at the right time you guys think between 230-3 at Gas City then right? Then we all ride to tonys suggestion of McD's and maybe get lunch for those of us that are hungry? Does that sound right?

I say 2:30 :laughing the earlier the better because its getting darker sooner :rolleyes which sucks.
