I am well aware of your efforts and applaud what you have accomplished. I don't think anyone here is disputing that. I try to do my little part when I can. Many here have been welcomed into my home and garage.

I just don't find it humorous to laugh at other's bad luck. Well unless it's SilentAlero.:lmao:
then you guys can relate which also makes you guys bad and suck too.

there was 5 threads making fun of Marks bad luck, and joked all along the way with him fixing his bike. bad luck, trying to make humor out of a bad situation is what i saw most doing. and thats what i am doing. trying to find the humor or murphys law and not let it get to me, or whom ever. laugh with, and somtimes towards. i do both.

i am a funny cruel guy.

I can relate somewhat but we laugh at SilentAlero not because of his bad luck. Everyone laughed at his lack of taking ownership for what happened. That and his equally bad choices post accident. Then it just went downhill from there. :laughing

then you see what i mean and you all are just as cruel as i am.

carry on.

i hope she gets it fixed, and for what its worth, KNOWING the risk is there.

i have ran "patch plug combos" on a # of my tires and wore the tire down to normal indicators and they held up just like a new tire wearing down under normal use. even done 170mpr runs on them too and didnt have a problem "as i am still alive and typing"

just know you COULD have a leak or a blow out later and any given time.

as it was stated already.

i am done talking in this thread, and i also want to point out i am nice and i am a cruel fucker.

it always seams like new tires have magnets in them or something

this just happen to mvrc51 also.

happen to me once a few years back.
i plugged it, tire only had 600 miles on it. i got about 3000 before it leaked on me.
and that was because i was at the drag strip for the first time, and the tire was getting to the end of its life.

took it off, patched it from the inside, and drove another 1500 miles home before i changed it. i got my moneys worth out of that damb tire! just like mao i dont recommend this for others but im ok with doing this for my bike.

best bet is to plug it only when you have to, like when your on a trip.

location of the hole is important too.
if its right in the middle just toss the tire, dont even bother patching it. MHO

someone told me the plugs are not legal in some states. i never looked into that.

id be too paranoid riding a tire with a hole in it, even if it is rigged with a quick fix, all it takes is a leak or blowout and shit wont be pretty. id get a new tire.

I have used plugs tho not on the bike nor would i use one as a 10 patch just doesnt give me enough guarantee that it will hold up. 10 buck for a patch with the unknown of a blow out or 150 for a tire i have some extra guarantee that i wont have a leak due to a faulty 10 patch.

I would say new tire try talking to the place you bought them for maybe they will rma it for you. worst case order a new tire when it arrives pull the nail out and if it doesnt leak then you should be all good and you will have a extra tire just incase

Why would a screw bother you? Are you now putting air in your tires?
or i could buy a triumph and put my life in the hands of something made by the british

Is it the front or rear tire that has the hole???
too easy...

someone else take this one

I find it funny that we are talking about two people from the board with bad luck... and it just so happens they are Eva and Mark.

:lmao:

I laugh at both!
:spit :lmao:  I can't give you anymore rep today, name stealer.:robewizar

:laughing this is why i love clsb

Well if you need the tire yanked off I can do it. Just let me know. I would just patch it and ride it out or toss a new one on next year.
PM sent Steve (again)! :)
