First Dirt Bike Suggestions???

I might be able to swing that for a few hours depending on the timing. I also need to figure out how to mix some gas/oil as I've never done that before and don't even know what to buy....:) I have so many questions it's kinda rediculous.

Anyway, time/exact location/etc. would be good. I take it this is not the Hopkins place that was mentioned before?

44:1 with any good full synthetic 2 stoke oil. I use Amsoil Dominator or Motorex. Get a Ratio Rite cup, it's marked with all the different ratios and how much gas you're mixing it with so you don't have to do any math. Any dealership should have one. Give me a call later if you have any other questions. Come out riding on Sunday if you can. I'll be putting around for a while breaking in my new top end anyways so I can show you around the place.

There is nothing exact about the location, nobody knows where it is exactly.:laughing: I'll probably leave Joliet around 10-11 am. It takes me around an hour to get there. I will post up a meet spot near the intersection of I57 and IL Route 17.

I run Torco GP7 at 32:1. I'm sure I've reagailed you with the story of the spark plug in my CR. It's the same plug that was in the bike when I bought it in march of '03.

I ran one old yz125 I had at 50:1, melted a hole in the piston.


And fuck Amsoil.

I just might make it....only about $60 in gas, 3-3.5 hr each way. The practice session Sat. at PodiumOne got canceled, so this is about it for my dirt option this weekend.

:laughing: I've mostly switched to Motorex now, just because I have to go all the way to DGY to get Amsoil. And fuck DGY :laughing: .
