I am having issues with what I hope is just my lens so I'd like to try someone else's just to compare.

The issue is that at wide open or close to it (1.8-2.2ish) it just can't focus right and the photo looks simply wrong. It focuses fine when taking a pic and shoots just fine but the photo ends up out-of-focus throughout. Lens works fine at 8-10+ aperture settings...

I already tested it (500d) against my old 450d and the issue seems to be the lens but I'd like to make sure.
