WTF I just got my first water bill and it's $250 (for may-oct). I have a non-metered account, rarely uses the water, I have no backyard pool, never water the lawn. What gives? I have nothing to compare to since I came from a condo and never bother with that. But that seem excessive.
Should I volunteer for a water meter? Or should I leave the sinks on 24hr (cold water only) and buy a sprinkler and have that turn on 24hr also. Also flush 3 times for everytime I pee, and 5 times for shit. Will I save money with a water meter? If not, then I'm going to really waste water. Heck I'll even water all my neighbors lawn (the whole block, assuming they buy 500' hose).
