Guys..what's the best way for me to get from Arlington Heights or Elk Grove to Wrigley? I want to take the train or the L so I don't have to drive drunk.

If you're gonna party later on and be out beyond midnight, I'd drive to the blue line (take 90 to Cumberland), park, and take the blue line to Clark and Lake, transfer to the red line, and take that to Addison. :)

If not, take the metra that runs through Arlington Heights downtown and there should be a bus or walk to the red line subway...don't remember which one is closest to that downtown rain station...

The closest stop to union station is the brown line quincy...that'll get you close, but the red line addison gets you right next to the field. You could always take the brown line quincy to fullerton, free to transfer to the red and go to addison. As for taking the train in, go to metrarail.com.

Peace

you're not suppose to so you just got to be discrete about it. You can drink on the Metra most of the time :cheers :thumbsup

You can take the UP NW line from Arlington Heights and either:

1) Take it all the way downtown, walk to the Red Line, take it to Addison;

2) Transfer to the Blue Line at Jefferson Park, take it to Washington, go through the tunnel to the Red Line, north to Addison; or

3) Take the UP to Irving Park and take the #80 bus to Clark, walk a few blocks south to Wrigley Field.

I never thought of that. It's probably easier and quicker than the route I ususally take. :thumbsup
