Was going 85 in a 65 and got a ticket. In Wisconsin, that's one hell of a ticket. Same amount of points on your license as reckless driving, dui, or evading an officer! How will this ticket affect my IL license? Debating whether it's worth the hassle to drive up to Juneau in April and possibly be stuck with the fine anyway.

Court appearance isn't required, but it is a $276 ticket. I'm just wondering how this ticket will affect my license since Illinois doesn't operate on the same system as Wisconsin. I'll gladly pay the fine and move on.

Yeah fucker was picking on me. Kicked it up to match the speed of the cars in the passing lane. If I was in fact going faster than everybody, it was only by 5 mph if that. How much should I expect to shell out for a lawyer and the fine?

Under 25 and with a violation like that? It will definitely be cheaper to pay a lawyer and an increased fine. Totally know what you're saying.
