Are you going to be able to keep up with bikes though?
Gosh Anna, i don't know if i'll be able to keep up with that rigorous schedule of stops every 100 miles :twofinger. I can go close to 300 miles easy on that car. I don't see any F4i owners doing that :D Actually, a car keeping up with bikes isn't so bad on long trips. It's around town in traffic where the bikes have a great advantage.

Anywho, i'm not really volunteering to carry everyone's junk. I don't enjoy being responsible for others' stuff. Unless, of course, you have any extra super models and you just can't fit them on the bike :D

This should be fun. I can chase you guys around and take pics. I'll bring a cardboard cutout of an XX so i can be "in" on the ride :laughing

Anna depending on how well we keep on schedule on Saturday, there is a sweet little road at LaCrescent that would only take about 10 extra minutes to run. Also, some of the MN boys were talking about meeting up with us before Winona, but we can work that out as time gets closer and we have a head count.

I can also make sure to print out extra maps and schedule for people that fail to do so. ;)

That sounds great! That way they can do some more riding, we shouldn't be the only ones that are pooped Saturday night :laughing

I have also been checking out some roads. I found a freakin' mountain in WI that has a road that runs through it. I think it's pretty neat and is pretty close to MN border. I was thinking of hitting it on the way back along with the other roads the WI guy suggested.

Since there is so many suggestions on roads, if I knew all of them, I could start high-lighting my map to see how many we can hit before we have to head home.

These pictures are from the mountain in WI, I was riding around there this past Thursday.

Hey Anna, where is this "mountain" you speak of? It looks pretty good in the pics.

:( DAMN IT DAMN IT DAMN IT!!!!!!! I wanna go!!!!! Oh well I guess it's not too bad that I am missing out on this ride for Kid Rock, Run DMC, and Areosmith:cheers ROCK ON you guys and ride safe:thumbsup

There are so many great roads in WI. Gays Mills has a nice road like that going to the top of the bluffs, but traffic will be heavy on that road as that is where everyone goes to buy apples. The apples up there are awesome.

Desoto has one that is all new surface, you just have to run it once to find out where the gravel is. It just winds back and forth all the way up the bluff. I usually include this road on a loop with Buck Creek Rd.

A run on Buck Creek Rd. is a must do whenever you are in the area. That is the one Brent ran off of back in June before we hooked back up with the IL group.

Here is the route near LaCrescent I was talking about. It was all new surface like 2 years ago. It was a detour once while I was working, so I returned on my bike later to try it out.

Those are just a few of my favorites.

I'm in . . . .. I wouls, however, like to join up on the way, rather than run all the way down to Strat's . . . . . can you divulge the eye's only route your taking from strats?

I think Anna said they'd be meeting at Starks, which, if I'm correct is a gas station somewhere where we met last time. I think it's a bit closer than Strats is, in any case. :)

Yep.. same place as last time. It's far away from civilization, but on the way to Iowa, so it's very convenient.

BP AMOCO
On RT 20 at the intersection of RT 20 & RT 47 & RT 72
Can’t miss it, it is the only thing on that corner
Starks, IL (see map below)

Meet time: 7:00am
Depart time: 7:30am

just remember that 12RPilot said he might not make it if he doesn't put the green humpty dumpty back together by then...
He's got a month.... plenty of time to slap the mean green machine together :laughing

OK here's a rundown

Hirny,
Can I throw some junk in your trunk??? And no, not the Vcook or Ody kind either! My slim sleek sexy figure has no place to hold any extra gear.

Wik,
Can you send me some maps on how to get to those areas from Algonquin, IL? I'd like to scout some maybe.

Max,
Bringing the Pumpkin out to play? I'm sure Anna would like to see her old baby!

Anna,
What town/area was that WI mountain in? I might check it out this weekend.

Wolfgang,
Were you coming? damn I forgot whatcha said, but figured you wanted some vengance on the MN roads.

Everyone,
Make sure your oil changes are done and you have good times. This will most likely be a 1K+ mile trip, and a blast!
Ciao,
Lupi

Lupi... look at 33 near the town of Ontario.

Ah, the old pumpkin bike............ I would need to take a picture with the both bikes, "Anna's sportbike past" and "Anna's sportbikes present".............. if someone would only bring out a silver or yellow Aprilia Falco, I could do a "Anna's sportbike future" :laughing
