The Voltron Force was five of the toughest young space explorers in the galaxy. All five of them have extraordinary fighting (both hand-to-hand and dogfighting) skills; all five were top of their class in the Academy. At first detained and made slaves for the sport arena on Planet Doom, they escaped to fufill their mission -- travel to Planet Arus and resurrect the mightiest robot in the galaxy -- Voltron, Defender of the Universe.

Keith was one sexy cartoon!! For those of you who don't know Keith, he was the one in Red. The highest ranked commander.

You know when you are old when you remember this!!
Another Voltron, only this one is the remake from teh mid-90'S....they used a lot of 3D when it was the "IN" thing to do. Kinda round the time that Re-Boot started!

is that voltron? sweet.

Lion-o whips Mummrah's ass regularly. Cheetara was hot.

There are a couple characters in that tri-fold that actually were never part of teh show. The big guy in blue in the middle panel for example. The illustration is by Brett Booth, one of my all time favorite artists. He made that illustration when Dreamwave productions was trying to obtain the rights to Thundercats, He-Man, Gi-Joe and the Transformers. The only one they walked away with was the transformers. Brett's site says that the guy in blue was intended to be Liono's brother, too bad that's all we'lll see of him!

Apparently hard for you. Since it's V-FORCE... not G-FORCE. Is it because you are thinking of a certain... G-Spot? Of a certain... someone? :twofinger

Hmmm...now that you mention it, yeah a certain someone may come ot mind...LOL

Actually, I believe they were released to teh states more than once. The initial run was G-force. Thenthey cam back several years later and had all been re-dubbed. I believe at that time they renamed the show because of the extreme popularity of Voltron. I don't quite recall how the name change came about, or exactly what it went to-from. WHat order that is. But, I clearly remember the re-dubbing and voice changes.

And, No not a geek, just a major animation nut.
