I thought pit-mix from the moment I saw the photo, but pits can be good dogs. It's crappy owners who give them most of their bad reputation. Give him lots of exercise and train him early on, he'll be fine. The one thing to watch with them is they tend to bond very strongly with their owner, to the point of being over protective. Cool dog though!

Love bullie breeds especially English Bulldogs and English Staffordshire Terriers. I still want to get a English Staffie but don't have the time and commitment to raise another dog.

Goodluck with your pup, he does have nice colors. What did you name him?
I got Auggie a "friend with benefits", but she humps him WAY more than he does her. Go figure.......
Those are such great looking dogs!

The GF wanted to name him Diesel, and so thats his name. He's getting a bath right now, but I'll get some pics up later today. He's acclimating to the new home well, and he loves to sleep right next to the bed and snore away.

Congrats on adopting. If I knew how to send you a rep point, I would!
You just lowered the 5 million animals that are euthanized each year by one.

Ride safe,
Brian

P.S. Gracie in my avatar asked me to thank you as well.

Diesel is adorable. You won't regret getting a dog, he will become your shadow in no time at all. Make sure you get him fixed and he will be alot better behaved. On a side note, Bulldogs don't have tails. Goodluck with him, I hope you need new furniture cause your current stuff will be trashed in a few months. I also recommend crate training him. Some people think it's cruel, but my dogs LOVE their crates and have no problem holding "it", even up to 10 hours at times. They go into their crates even when they can roam the house. You were wise to get a mutt, they tend not to have nearly as many problems as pure breed's.

Thanks!
When he came into the shelter he was too old to get the tail docked.
He seems OK w/ furniture thusfar. Growing up with Rotties I learned a few tricks to keep them from destroying stuff. Bitter Apple is an awesome product.

He's nearly housetrained already. He's had some accidents, but he tries to let us know when he needs to go. he had a doggie door at the shelter that'd he'd go out when he needed to. Now we just need to get him to hold it.

Cute dog Rob!! You'll have to order some doggy treats from my bakery now!! :D

These pics are much better, and I'm going with mostly pitbull/bull terrier mix. I think it has some bull terrier because of its longer snout. His face in that first pic looks a lot like a bull terrier pup.
