Man, all of you Trek Heads are so dissapointing. And I''m sorry, but I think Dan needs one of those, "Hideous No-Honor Daeths!"

Ok, I'm going out on a limb here, since I am by no means a Trek Fanatic. BUT, are you all forgetting the "FIRST" Enterprise to ever travel space? Lead by Captain Jonathan Arhcer? If I am correct, they DID indeed have warp functunality, without SHEILDS! I do believe all they had to begin with was Polarized Armor Plating. A far cry from shields?

SO, unless I am completely wrong, I guess this ends the, "Which came first, The Warp Core or The Sheild Generators!"

Ciao,
Lupi

Actually, wasn't the first Enterprise in space really one of the space shuttles?
