I'll balance this dudes tires on 12 stacked up beer cans side by side with a tree branch running through the wheel.

I should get a picture of that shit actually. See! Now I'm thinking here in the hotel room.

im not buying the dynabead concept.

it only takes 5 minutes and a $100 balancer to do it right.
Procedure for balancing a tire:

- Mount tire on rim
- Air up so beed pops on
- Remove valve core to let air back out of tire
- Bounce tire to make sure beed is seated correctly
- Re Inflate tire
- Check wheel bearings to make sure they are not notchy
- Stick axle through wheel
- Set wheel on swingarm stand sitting on work bench
- Let wheel fall / roll to to heavy spot
- Put weights on opposite side of heavy spot
- Spin wheel to see if it's balanced
- Alter weights on opposite side of heavy spot so wheel sits in any position no matter where you want to set it.

It's not rocket science and you sure as fuck don't need a 100 dollar balancer.

stanimal does it too.
And I have an awesome collection of brooms and jackstands to get that balance just right .

Actually , when you get close , it will work . Only very experienced people can tell the difference . I get a lot of people that dont have any or dont want any weights at all.

Stan, give yourself credit those are antique vintage broom sticks used by your great great great grandfather to balance wagon wheels.

I agree with everything but the broom stick. The broom stick does not allow the bearings to do their thing. To properly balance you need the axle in there and then suspend the wheel by the axle with whatever you can find. A swingarm stand seems to work pretty good, or jack stands.

I like the kickstand method used to break the bead. Whatever it takes right?:bow
Trust me the broom stick works just fine. I have used it 3 times and all threee times the rims turned out balanced perfectly.

I can see why Grasshopper might think the broomstick won't work. The pics are deceiving, almost looks like the broomstick was sagging in the middle and that the wheel would not be able to spin freely. I took the pics and that wheel was "rolling" just fine.

This is the main reason I keep it in my race trailer. I plan on buying a static balancer because I hate lugging the chairs around. It takes up too much space.
Just use your swingarm stand and the axle or broom stick. Or 2 jack stands.

^^^And that's why you have no business
